- An appliance equipped with mechanical brake, adjustable height tabletop, and protective hood
- Two-handed start, individual start positions can be fixed
- Starting heights defined via software subject to the mass of the tested specimen
- Masses that can be tested using desk top design are between 0.25kg - 1kg
